With a background in Fine Art and a Masters degree in History of Art and Architecture, Emma went on to gain a post-graduate diploma in Residential Landscape at The Oxford College of Garden Design which brought together her great loves: art, design and nature. After graduating Emma moved to Sydney, where she worked for leading Landscape Architecture and Sustainability practices as well as some top tier Residential Garden designers. Moving back to the UK, Emma dove into horticultural studies with the RHS and began working freelance, maintaining gardens in and around Bristol alongside undertaking some local design projects. Having long admired the work produced by Artisan Emma joined the team, bringing with her a love of creating beautiful spaces, incorporating nature into urban environments and solving often complex puzzles of spatial design.
